Minor injuries such as cuts can be treated at the Fielding Palmer cottage hospital, situated adjacent to the health centre It is open daily between 8 am and 7 pm and provides a nurse led service. A doctor is not on site so if your need is for advise or treatment which does not involve an injury then it is better to ring the doctor or NHS direct.

Major injuries. There are only limited facilities at the Fielding Palmer cottage hospital and major injuries such as broken bones  which require X-rays or specialist attention are treated either at the Leicester Royal Infirmary or St. Cross hospital, Rugby. Both of which are open 24 hours a day. Children are no longer seen at St Cross Hospital.
