Practice nurses have expanded their roles in the
management of health care. This has meant that our nurses have had a great deal
of specialist training in disease management and health promotion. Some
of the things that our practice nurses do are listed below (the list long but is
not comprehensive!):

Rosie Rowe RGN
Rosie trained at the Sussex Downs School of Nursing. She has
had extensive experience in Leicester hospitals. She was a specialist nursing
sister at the Accident and Emergency department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary
for 4 years. Rosie joined the practice in 1998 and has a special interest in
diabetes and coronary heart disease for which she has additional qualifications.
She is married with two children. Rosie loves an active lifestyle which includes
going walking, cycling, swimming, skiing and gardening.
