Carers development officer. Provides help information and support for people caring for others in the community.

District nurses. They are based at the health centre and provide nursing care within the patients home.

Health Visitor. The role of the health visitor is not only to visit new babies and their families at home but also to promote the health of the whole community. Our health visitor is based within the health centre and can be contacted directly.

Midwife. Our practice midwife carries out an antenatal clinic every Tuesday afternoon. Her goal is to provide personal care for the mother and child from the earliest part of pregnancy though to the homecoming and postnatal care. The midwife also organizes antenatal classes.

Podiatry. This service is based at the health centre. We make referrals to them about foot problems.

School nurses. They are based within the cottage hospital. Since many school children are also patients of the practice we liaise closely with school nurses.

One stop shop at Wycliffe House. Voluntary and community  services have come together on one site off Gilmorton road (map). These services include:

Volunteer centre. Matches volunteers with those who need help in the community. In addition runs the social car scheme for those who have difficulty in travelling independently.

Citizens advice bureau. Gives free impartial advice about issues such as debt, employment, housing and relationship breakdown.

South leicestershire CVS. Involved in fundraising, development of new projects e.g. supporting other voluntary organisations and loan of equipment

bullet

Crossroads. Provides respite care to carers by sending trained care attendants into their homes.

Home respite scheme. Offers respite care at home to those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease

bullet

Lutterworth museum. Educate yourself and your children about Lutterworth and the surrounding area
