The right hand side of the prescription form will show the
date when your next medication review is due. Book an appointment to see the
doctor around this indicated date. We may not be issue you with your pills
if an appointment for a medication review with the doctor is overdue.
It takes 48 hours to process a request for a repeat
prescription.
All the local chemists have a ordering and collection service
so you could contact them to pick up your prescription from the surgery at
prepare it for collection at the chemist shop.
The chemist will sometimes drop the
medication off at your home if you are too infirm to go and collect it or you
don't have friends or family to fetch it for you.
We will not issue a prescription if you
miss your check-up appointment.
