Surgery hours

Doors open at 8:30 am and we close at 6:00 pm on weekdays. We are also closed on Saturday and Sunday.

We run open surgeries in the morning between 8:30 am to 12 mid day and appointment only surgeries in the afternoon between 4pm and 5:30 pm

If you are feeling ill and wish to see the doctor in the morning then you do not need an appointment. Just report to the surgery and wait your turn. Monday mornings, however, are particularly busy, so it can be worthwhile ringing the surgery for an estimate of the waiting time before setting off. We find that the waiting times are the shortest on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

You can arrange an evening appointment by telephone or by coming to the surgery. We hope to introduce an on-line request system for appointments in the future.

You can ask to see the doctor of your choice but it is always best to see the same doctor during one episode of illness. To see which doctor is available for consultation at a particular time look at the table below. Dr Hughes finished working with the practice on April 28th. We are in the process of appointing a replacement doctor.
